I am the web site and forum creator. This is the first post.
I am a Rosamond resident and created this site and forum for the purpose of initiating some political activity. We are more than an hour drive from Bakersfield, the "center" of the CA23rd district and I suspect are generally ignored. Maybe we can change that.
I have sent out 70 postcards to Rosamond residents and I think one person has responded.
There are many things we might do, but rather than write a long drawn out post, I wish to hear from other residents in Rosamond.
I have a voter registration database from Kern County, but it is difficult to import and when done, has thousands of minor errors. If anyone know how to better deal with it, their help will be appreciated. I do have a usable format for Rosamond.
